Michael Dunmore
Michael is the founder of MD Agencies and brings with him over 18 years of experience in the industry. His career started at Solus Garden and Leisure as a sales rep where he worked with large garden centres and groups alongside the National account manager. In 2014 Michael became an agent with Tom Chambers and was responsible for the whole of the South East. Michael is enjoying building his MD Agencies team, and is dedicated to providing the best possible service for his customers. Michael is a huge football fan and supports Crystal Palace. In his spare time he enjoys going to matches with friends and family.
Peter Chrysostomou
Peter joined Michael in 2014 and became an equal partner of MD Agencies in 2015. Peter made his first steps into the industry at the age of 15 at Woodcote Green Nurseries. After graduating from Hadlow Horticultural College he progressed to work for Capital Gardens at Neal’s Nurseries Wandsworth where he became branch manager and buyer. As his role evolved he was regarded as senior manager here and this is where he met Michael in 2003. Peter joins Michael in his passion for football and Crystal Palace and loves nothing more than spending Saturdays in the stands and tending to his garden.
Nick Hinton
Nick is a Horticultural College graduate and has worked in many garden centres. In his position as Area Sales Manager for Spread Garden Supplies he covered the South East of England creating great working relationships.. Nick had the pleasure of growing the brand Vital Earth, where he helped to build it from the roots up and established a strong customer base. He then moved on to join Tom Chambers where he worked with them for 7 years. Nick took the opportunity to join MD Agencies in 2016 and is a great asset to the team. In his spare time Nick is an avid electric guitar collector and player and likes jamming to the sounds of progressive metal.
Alan Chapman
Alan has been working in the industry since the age of 19 where he started as a merchandiser at Syon Park. He continued his career there for 14 years, becoming centre manager and moving onto sundries buyer for all of their 3 sites.
Alan later moved on to work for Decco and after that spent 17 years at Gardman.
Following here Alan then spent some time at Henry Bell before joining us here at MD Agencies and is a pleasure to have on our team.
Alan has a passion for supporting Brentford for most of his life and enjoys friendly football banter with the rest of the MD team.
Helen Marsland
Helen is responsible for our marketing developments and office admin. After graduating with a Masters in Marketing in 2005 Helen went on to work as a Marketing Executive for the costume suppliers of ITV’s Strictly Come Dancing, Cosmos Holidays, QVC shopping channel and later became Marketing Manager for Thomson Holidays’ long haul division. In her time at Cosmos holidays she also re-branded the company to Monarch Holidays. Helen enjoys making improvements to her garden, creates handmade headdresses and crowns, hula hoop dances and is training to hoop with fire.
